Is what I get for not writing daily. They always end up in a pile of random lulz.

I guess first would be about the old HK news of Sho's AFWAC Aflac CM from AnJ...OMG I still can't get over it. They called him 翔仔 xD! I mean I would've expected 櫻井 or at the very least 小翔 if they were to go first name basis... but NO. It's 翔仔!! That's soooooo

It's fun when they go into pairs, and YOU'RE RIGHT. With pairs you get to focus the spotlight just on them. I mean, Ohno, who usually forgets to talk unless someone passes the conversation to him, is now required to talk. How awesome is that xD

D no Arashi! the experiments! The fail photo corner! The contests! Gosh, that was so much fun even just them huddling together without any guests for some corners. See, they had turned the simplest things into something entertaining. That has always been their forte before the more luxurious shows.

Gotta admit, I probably don't hold the same sentimentality as veteran fans, as I've just about to reach one year into the fandom despite how I've been talking so far xD; But gosh I've dug into their older stuff, and it's just that what they're doing now is something they've done before and is nothing worth frantic-ing over.

Yeah me too... I've been on and off w/ seiyuu buddies :(

I entered out of complete random, actually... several con buddies at Fanime last year were spamming me with Arashi stuff, and we ended up watching Arashi stuff 60% of the time HAHA. Well, before that, picked up YamaTaro out of random since one of them was tweeting about it, but I can't say I knew Arashi from that.

For now, only Fanime this year is planned... very tempted to go to AX to see Kalafina, but no concrete plans yet :(

w/ all honesty im one those fans that thinks the new HnA show sucks & still think it is:X... & called jun w/ so many names..*diva, fab,hime, ghei, Barbie & so forth..it depends on d situation. I actually understand ur point abt everything..at first i feel bad on those who called Aiba an Aibaka..natural airhead...at d end, what can i do? well, i think its a matter of being used to it & just ignored the ignorance of some...same w/ other members....im actually very vocal here on my intense dislikes of Arashi's imperfections...out of love or whatever reasons, i really do mean it! but it doesn't mean i care less & that made me insensitive much...its just that, this is me, its hard to explain-_-...

Sorry if the post sounded like some attack at those who feel this way... it really is just my inner ranting haha.. I understand not everyone will get comfortable with the way things are running, but I just wish that more people realized TBS didn't change the shows just to hurt fans' feelings by not giving them their daily dosage of all the boys. That's the vibe I get when I read comments. :/ And even if the show might not be as enjoyable as before, I don't wish TBS get all the blame for it. The stations could've taken the shows out altogether, but we still get 3 shows each week.

its nice to read Arashi fans opinions about everything fandom related..whether it would be affirmative or neg. side ne. its good thing to know what on peoples mind.

eventhough, i find the new HnA sucks. Well, its still hardwork & i respect the hnA staff for that but i think they better create a new corner before hnA will slowly lost their loyal audience. looking at their new VIP limousine's ratings, it still managed to get double digit ratings despite the boredom ..that means, clearly, that HnA have already gained loyal audience...like you said, fandom should be thankful that Arashi have still 3 shows:))

hee, 翔仔 is absolutely adorable, sounds just like HK press alright. maybe 小翔 would've been too Taiwanese.

you know i'm ecstatic about them going on-locay and being in pairs. yay for Aiba/Jun pair again. i'm surprised people are grumbling esp since MMA was the highest rated series in the fandom.

i used to think Jun was quite the perfectionist, until he really mellowed out and became likable. "hime" bothered me as much as the "mother hen" nickname w/ Sho. maybe i just don't get that whole gender bender thing. although, i've become very tolerant about fandom now. there are all kinds of fetishes people hang onto i suppose. :)

I wonder why so colloquial haha. It's almost like they knew him for a long time to be calling him that. And I totally based 小翔 on the Canto dub for Pokemon, in which Satoshi was 小智... but he is a kid, I guess xD

The Aiba/Jun episode this week was adorable. It's ironic, really. Before all this happened, I recall reading some fans who thought their current shows are too "luxurious", and now that they've gone back to outdoor shooting, they're grumbling again. *sigh* So hard to satisfy I guess.

Well, it's not really the gender thing that bugs me about the hime nickname... When 'mother hen' is used on Sho, there usually isn't much derogatory tone to it and has origins from some magazine neta. But hime is totally fandom-coined, and when it's used on Jun, it's usually zooming on the 'temper' of Jun when he doesn't get what he wants, that he's sensitive and literally a 'spoiled child' who didn't get what he wanted. I guess I'm mainly pissed because I just feel he's really misunderstood due to the whole tsundere display

I think some use it for a lack of a better term for "regal." But I agree that most are using it to pinhole Jun into this character. With the term "mother hen," while I know it means well, it also connotes fussiness and nagging. As if a man can't be considerate and thoughtful to his friends, so it must be the "mother hen" in him. I know I get too intellectual with fandom, so I shouldn't be so critical.But we all gotta let it out sometimes. Blog to express not to impress. Do your thang, preach! ;D

I guess they didn't read up the news about how Matsushima is on maternity leave and Nakajima is on sick leave. So, that's why TBS had to do what they have to do; beside what you have mention about conserving energy.

=/ All fandom has them. Those fresh bloods. XD I can biased and I do want to see Ohno shine when he's paired with anyone. This is nothing new about pairing up. I love their old shows. ♥

Oh yes, you are right! I forgot to add that as well. Both of them are taking a leave for personal reasons. The staffs know the boys will do just fine hosting themselves. All I wish is for their safety when they do go outside ^^b

Ohno seems even more random when he gets paired up xD It's so fun~
