I've been thinking about the gastric bi-pass (or banding) surgery again, but the risks are great and it scares me so much. I just don't know. I need an answer to drop from the sky into my lap -- if I had a lap! but as tesslouise reminded me, neither Bear nor I have a good feeling about the surgery

I am sorry I’ve not commented lately, I’ve been thinking about you. I am glad your daughter is on the mend now, how scary! What is it about life that things hit you all at once? It seems to happen that way to everybody, and that is not fun.

There is a lot going on with Emmie too, it would be very difficult I am sure to have to change her schedule around, and go to new places. I hope that the center she has been going won’t close.

I wish you all of the best Kathryn! When you talk about the gastric bypass, and the bad feelings you have about it, maybe you should not then. I think going with your first instinct can be the better thing to do. Unless you can find out more about the surgeries/recovery time/medicines involved and find that you would be okay. There are so many factors with that surgery.

It stands on it’s own, and it weighs about 5 lbs. maybe? So you can move it around easily to work on different areas. PLUS it comes all apart to store in a small space, very handy indeed :) I used my 40% off coupon from JoAnn’s and got it for about $60.00 or so.

That looks really great... makes me want one! I like tying quilts, too. Especially high loft ones.
