I am incredibly fatigued today, and am having trouble staying awake despite taking a half of a Provigil (1/4 no longer works). I fell asleep WHILE EATING SCRAMBLED EGGS this morning, which of course is dangerous as I could choke! Then I fell asleep at the table, with a full cup of coffee before me. It was ice cold when I finally woke up when the ( Read more... )

I hope you'll feel better tomorrow!

It's really sad when there is no help for two girls who are trying to escape a violent, mentally-ill person. It's just sad. I will keep praying for them!

You're right, it is. But hopefully in time they will be out of this hole. If they survive the winter!

There's no plan except for taking more provigil, which caused me to have severe jitters the first time around (at full strength, 200 mg). Now I have started at 50 mg and have worked up to 100 mg. that seems to be working.

No, buying for Emmie is kind of hard, especially for mailable things. She likes markers, crayons and big coloring books of superheroes. She had a big superman one that she filled up. She likes word games and puzzles (age 10 or less) and those kinds of puzzlebooks for kids.

And NO WAY can the girls stay with us. Our house is too small and they have five animals! Plus a turtle!

Narcolepsy is scary stuff! Do you get any kind of warning that it's about to knock you out cold?

Crossing fingers for the girls - here's hoping that things settle down soon and they can get on with their lives in a happy, safe place.

It IS scary. As for a warning... I just get incredibly sleepy and my eyes start to close. But it's like it happens so fast that I don't CARE that I have food in my mouth. Good thing I'm not driving right now, I'd have a wreck.

today I moved my meds up to BEFORE eating, about a half hour before, and that kept me from being sleepy at all today. YAY!

I agree for the girls...
