We have spent the very peaceful, quiet weekend quilting; Bear quilted a quilt top belonging to a colleague while I have been diligently cutting out the fabric/sewing 6" 4-squares for Emmie's Virginia Tech quilt. Good thing she doesn't read my journal

That's so great you connected with an old friend! My best friend from high school and I re-connected while I was in Kansas. We only got to have lunch together but gosh it was great seeing her again!

I'm sorry about about the bad news, happy about the job and I'll be praying.

That happened with me a few years ago. My best friend in HS and I were separated for 25 years, and got reunited. It was fantastic, and we got to have a couple of visits before we moved to VA. We write now. Sadly she is not computer savvy.
