We were away this weekend

And it was so nice to be able to use my Jazzy chair away from home. Timber and Bobby (both firemen) dissembled the chair and moved it up to the car for me, then brought it back down a week later (both on Sundays) so I could use it. I went to Business-to-Business Showcase, as I mentioned earlier, and then to the Pageant that Bear's school was ( Read more... )

ohhhh, my poor, dear friend! now i really do want to come to your house and make soup and stew for you! we will pray for you, sweetie.
stinks about the ramp. we must pray in the Spirit and ask God to make a way where there seems to be no way...

Sounds like a great weekend, quilts, fabric and books! I'm glad you got out and enjoyed yourself.

I've never eaten Indian food, you make it sound delicious!

I've been going to outta the house lately to see how things are going, not much progress on that front right now. :(

Sorry you are ill, we have this here at our house...I've had a sinus headache since I woke up.

Life's a roller coaster ride! I'm glad to hear from you...

You really should give Indian food a try. If you like chicken and tomato soup, Chicken Tikka Masala "mild" would be a good bet.

Thanks for being glad to hear from me!! I'm glad to hear from you, too!

nope, not much happening in Outta the House, sadly. Sigh..

I just made an entry in my journal about Outta the House!

Maybe some of my friends-list will know of some avenues we haven't thought to do down yet.

Man, I'm ready to go to the nightly news! :D

I am so glad that you got time away doing things that you like to do. Ah Ha! Dearest is going to be envious of that Indian Food. :) On the way home from the hospital today he spotted and Indian restaurant. You can guess where we will be having dinner on of these days.

Can't wait to see the pics!

thank you for your prayers, as we sure do need them

Yes, our weekend was very nice! Helps break up the monotony for me, which is a very nice thing.

I bet if this were useful info you'd have already thought of it but... when I was helping with my elder relatives in Florida, each of their county's elder services organizations offered assistance. One county offered in home health care, another offered assistance with the cost of ramps (and rails in bathrooms), (but neither offered both, go figure). Not sure if y'all are over 65 or if this is offered in your state or county but thought it was worth mentioning, just in case.
