You know what? All those people questioning anything about your financial situation aren't worth it. You do not have to defend yourself or even explain the reasonings why you were able to do this or that.

EVERYBODY needs time away, and everybody needs an occasional meal out or a special something or other whether you can afford it or not. It is none of their business, is it.

The only time Jeffrey and I ever afford anything really "extra", it's by charge card..and the extra money that falls into our laps pay off that indulgence. I don't think we'll ever apologize for living life and neither should you :) It would be a very miserable existence if we didn't allow ourselves occasional luxuries. And your vehicle is a necessity, don't feel the need to explain.

Seconded. I hope there are kind people, too. I've certainly had my share of poor experiences in various groups, to where it wasn't worth it to me anymore.
