Hey everyone, so I'm still hoping that we can get together on Sundays around the usual time (of course, if other times or days are more convenient for people, we can work that out too).

Here is a list of the Chen Dao moves. It's not quite the same names I learned, ("can hua" and "chan hua" are pretty different in meaning, for instance) but it's close, and hopefully recognizable. If I have a chance I'll draw up and annotate a list as well.http://

As most of you know, this Sunday and next (at least) we're going to be focusing on the ChenDao form. This is going to be something a little different than the usual class format -- a couple of days focused just on the one form. He has for the last bit been teaching a series of classes for the University community, and we are working to coordinate our two groups, especially as I will be leaving the area in a few months. Remember about the time change tomorrow!

I went through the warmups this morning, and foundd my balance is a lot better for standing meditation if I don't put in a hair thingie first.

My car is in the shop, and it will not be ready for me to drive by Sunday. This leaves me without my normal transportation to the Sunday class. Is there anyone who could a) give me a lift in (from, er, Fremont) or b) could pick me up from the Redmond Park and Ride around 9:00?

If not I can probably do the bus and bike thing.

So, I'm going to be in Madison, Wisconsin, from the eighth through the eleventh of February. That means I'll miss both UW classes on the 8th and Artspawn class on the 11th. I'm hoping y'all will choose to meet at Artspawn... and I'll see if I can arrange a sub for the UW class.
