Nope, sorry. I shouldn't have posted this here. I thought I had talked about having been in the hospital. I was wrong. My bad.

I had moved to Portland OR to help Hamburger Mary's get their kitchen running properly as it was a fucking shitshow, costs were out of goddamned control, they had too many cooks yet they couldn't manage to get ticket times down and let's not even start on the sanitation conditions. I should have known better than to keep working for that company after the Kansas City debacle, but that's beside the point. I was up there working 70-80 hours a week, practically sleeping in the restaurant. Not eating properly cause I couldn't afford to eat in the restaurant I was working at, heh, getting almost no sleep, drinking pretty much only coffee and energy drinks. So, small wonder, I got a "cold" which I ignored. Then I blew out my knee and it swelled up to about the size of a honeydew, but I couldn't take time off or I'd have lost my job (No, I am not kidding) so I kept working on it till it finally gave out, I missed a day of work and was let go, so I moved back to Kansas City where the cold I had been ignoring turned in to full blown pneumonia ( ... )

I was wondering why I hadn't hear anything from satanslisunbeam, now I see why: working his tuckus off.

When I was in Canada, there was a lil old lady across my hallway that sold meat pies from her kitchen. I'm sure our free nation's got laws against that.

I remember scarybaldguy was selling his spaghetti sauce online for a little while, too.

kitchenbeard has got it (as well as a very saucy icon). Now's a good time to hammer out the small boring shit.
While normally I'd say "Snag a few online classes on the cheap for business development and finance", broke is broke. Tell me what you need and I'll try to locate it for you.

And develop a book of recipes. I'd pay $20 for a nice recipe list that included pics of the spices, some pictures of the in progress creation. "Is it suppose to look like that?"
