I love the fact that every time I read one of your ds fics, there's something new in it I haven't come across before. It may be a tone or a take, simple or complex - anyhow, it's refreshing!

This was great. Like some others have said, I'm a sucker for stories that give the characters interesting histories, and this story is a terrific example of how to make that work beautifully.

wow.. i think this story blew my mind when i first read it, so much so that i couldn't leave feedback because i didn't want to copy-paste 50 quotes.. so now i'll just do two here --

Startled, I jerk away, and he releases me immediately.
"Okay, easy."
"No, I-" I grab for him, but he dances back a step.

But this kind of honest talk is beyond my abilities. I burrow into his neck.
"Okay. Okay," he says. "It's all good."

i really loved your Fraser characterization here.. it's the most logical extrapolation from what i've seen of him in Victoria's Secret. he is neither the over-macho caricature nor the completely passive/innocent bottom; he's cold and smooth like snow until you tug him out of his shell, and hesitant/stunted only because of past hurts/neglect. he burns like fire if you manage to step within past the boundaries he's set up (ie, if you're Ray)..

Wow, that's a beautiful characterization of Fraser (smooth like snow, until...)

Yeah, this piece was def inspired by that scene with Victoria. He seems so damaged to me in that ep, so lost in his needs and confusion.

And Dead!Bob is just no help at all!

Just saw this recced on ds_recsredux and-- woah. This is such a wonderful interpretation of both Fraser and Ray's characters, seen through the eyes of a Fraser who, frankly, I just want to bundle up in a blankie and wail oh, woobie! at.

The language you use in this is a fantastic combination of stutter and verbose that really portrays Fraser's character and moods throughout this whole piece.

Yes, I am disgustingly prolific lately, mainly because people have been responding so kindly, which usually spawns my excitement and a bunny or two which spawns more responses...it's like a really twisted, pron-o-graphic co-dependency thing.

Wow, this is great! :) I'm happy that I finally found a fic with very vulnerable Fraser. Usually in fics, he is so confident and so experienced in gay sex which I don't think is true at all because sheesh, it's Fraser after all :D

I'm so glad you liked it. I love vulnerable Fraser. He just doesn't strike me as free-wheeling with his er libido as he is generally portrayed. Altho I enjoy seeing him portrayed that way, as well. It's all good. :)

I kinda don't understand the fics that portray him as an experience gay lover who slept with who knows how many men in the past. I mean, do we talk about the same Fraser who gets uncomfortable when someone, anyone hits on him? O.o
