We rarely see a Fraser this fragile, emotionaly and psychologically speaking and it's refreshing. He's usually the strong one in all things, but here, you've made him less competent and sure of himself, especially in light of the Steve backstory. It's a very nice change.

Your Fraser voice is amazing.

Thank you much. I have this image in my head of when Victoria shoved him against the wall, and the expression on his face; that vulnerability really struck me, and inspired this take on his character.

I'm so glad you enjoyed.

Read this last night but didn't feel I could make anything like the comment it deserves. I still can't, but I wanted you to know how much I enjoyed it and how impressed I am by your interpretation of Fraser and your resistance to the 'hot sex cures everything instantly' trope.

absolutely loved this! fraser *breaks* my heart into tiny, tiny pieces that i'll never be able to glue back together.

"I am snow," I whisper. "Snow, and I will freeze you."

He shakes his head, but I go on, his resistance carrying me somehow.

"Snow," I insist. "Snow over rocks, breaking the runners, slicing the paws-"

*meep* SEE!?! watch your step cuz i'm all sorts of broken over here.

Oh, this is great. I love the idea of Fraser going back to Chicago with Ray. When you think about it, yeah, Ray's got more to lose by going North than Fraser has. You've captured that. As much as I love the idea of Ray giving up everything to be with Fraser in the Arctic, Fraser making the move to be with Ray is more practical and really makes more sense.

Thanks for writing this, and sharing it. Lovely, lovely story.

*loves* Beautiful story! You actually made me cry a little. *squishes my poor woobie Fraser*

Little typo: am appalled at the flush the rises on my already-warm skin
