The Little Bridge That Could

Its span is only 65 metres, but for a little bridge it packs a big punch.  Built in 1855, the St Andrew's Suspension Bridge is still carrying pedestrians from one side of the River Clyde to the other.  It may not have the pulling power of the Golden Gate or the might of the Brooklyn Bridge, but our littlest bridge has charms all of its own.

That is such an impressive little bridge, and I love the colour scheme. Was it originally painted blue and gold? Glasgow can be so very proud of some of it's buildings and structures. Great pics as always

Cheers Al, it is kinda cute. The original blue colour was a bit lighter, but the present shade is closer to the blue in the Scottish flag.

I did an interior one time with gold leaf layering to look gold like that on french rustic iron green.
