This handsome bit of heraldry appears on the facade of Glasgow's High Court. Speaking as someone whose only experience of the law is watching Midsomer Murders, I'm hoping this is the nearest I'll get to an appearance in court.

To the Burrell Collection today for a bit of art.  Glasgow shipping merchant, Sir William Burrell,  spent  a lot of his money on art. And not just any old art: a bit of Rodin here, second century Roman vase there. Stained glass, tapestries, you name it he nabbed it.
