BPAL has spawned a rather devoted "trading" community as well, both on LJ (alchemylab, etc) and elsewhere (BPAL Forums). While the bottles (5ml and 10ml) get traded regularly, the real fun is collecting and trying the "imp's ears" - small perfume sample sized vials. The lab blends everything by hand, so getting shipments from the lab often takes about two months

There is a store in L.A. called Black Broom that carries some oils. I think there may be one other, in Rhode Island. Other than that, no, they are pretty much online only. You can buy from the website or from folks at the BPAL forums. Some forumites will offer up partial imps extremely cheap so folks can test out a scent before committing to buy a 5ml or 10ml from the lab's website

If Eclipse doesn't love you, I'll take it. I have several imps sitting in my box I keep meaning to send to you. It is sad to fall in love with an LE. I wish I still had mine, I'd sent it on to you.

Ooh... impies!!! (I have a jailbait imp reserved for your kiddo still too.) I also forgot I have a Sudha Segara imp too I haven't run by you yet to see if you or the girls like it. My skin gobbled it up so fast I could barely tell what was in it!

I'll hunt down some Milk Moon later on... the spritzer I got from Angelle is larger than a normal imp so it should last me a while. Can't neglect my other stuff in the meantime, after all.

Yup, I have Black Pearl and it is rather yummy. Lots of coconut with a heady layer of hazelnut. One of these days I'm going to have to learn how to make bath bombs. I think Pearl would make for a very lovely bathtime.

Oops - and I'll let you know when Eclipse gets here. Gal sending it had a minor "oops" in shipment - it went to the wrong swappee, so it's still en route to me.

I have some in a roller bottle I never use anymore. I'll toss it in with your imps. I used to wear it all the time, but I haven't used it in months. I can't remember how much is in there, but you can open bottle and use it for bath bombs or dump whatever imps you have of Black Pearl in there to replenish.

The bad thing about my love for spicy, foody, sweet scents is that I keep having the insane urge to nibble my own wrist when wearing the really good ones! ;-)
