Hello. You've reached the confidential voice mail of Dr. Jonathan Crane. I'm afraid I'm not in right now, but if you leave a message, rest assured, I'll be in touch.
Hello! This is a notice from arpea_awards to inform you that your character has been nominated for an honour in Roleplaying!
He has been nominated in: Choice Villain
Feel free to watch the community for the winners when they are announced after voting closes on November 20th. Best of luck! (I have such a love for Cillian Murphy and Scarecrow, so go you for playing him! <3)
Thank you! Obviously, I like him, too. I wouldn't be carrying on but for my co-writers, though, so I'm pleased that they've been nominated. I'm the laziest of the bunch of us.
Well, I certainly agree that therapy with a professional accomplishes things that are simply impossible to achieve on one's own.
You can opt for an initial consultation, if you like - it's a tad more expensive than if you were to commit to an intensive course of counseling and evaluation, but that would be up to you. I can't really estimate the duration of treatment without hearing more about your case.
Hello, Doctor. This is Jack Harkness: we spoke earlier. I'd like to make an appointment, so, uh. If you can just call me back. My number's *insert number here!* Thanks.
Hello, Mr. Harkness. I'm glad to see you've taken the first step. I've made some space in my schedule; why don't you let me know when you're available? In the meantime, perhaps you'd like to try this exercise: when you become conflicted or upset, write down what happened. You should record every instance of this, from a moment of ennui over your morning coffee to direct interpersonal conflicts - even having someone break into your apartment and go through your personal effects. Your reactions (not just actions, but even impulses and thoughts) are what matters - we can discuss the meaning of those reactions during our session.
I can work without it, of course, but most like to have a hand in their process.
Good day, Mr. Harkness.
ooc: Thread in my journal or yours, or sws? Crane might be amenable to phone or webcam therapy.
(( I set up a thread! I assumed they set up an appointment~ Also I realized, wtf, Jack gave his last name as Harkness. It's... not. It's Havemeyer. Harkness is his villain name and yeah I'm a dolt. XD so plz pretend he said Havemeyer from the start. ))

I should also mention that I do not accept any forms of insurance at this time.

I was curious as to who you were, people in the asylum said we looked alike.

The asylum? You mean Arkham? Hrm. I still have contacts there.
