Hello. You've reached the confidential voice mail of Dr. Jonathan Crane. I'm afraid I'm not in right now, but if you leave a message, rest assured, I'll be in touch.
Well, I certainly agree that therapy with a professional accomplishes things that are simply impossible to achieve on one's own.
You can opt for an initial consultation, if you like - it's a tad more expensive than if you were to commit to an intensive course of counseling and evaluation, but that would be up to you. I can't really estimate the duration of treatment without hearing more about your case.
ooc: Yes. He's The Scarecrow, a movie-verse version. He's completely amoral and totally insane. The short version of his therapy would probably involve hitting her with a dose of a new variation of his fear toxins and dropping her off somewhere dangerous. The long version of it - which Nadine's gotten - involves kidnapping, cages, and a complete breakdown of the psyche.
I'm actually heading out the door for a bit - will be back in a couple of hours - but if you have a reason to want to have Cuddy be driving temporarily nuts, you've come to the right place. He could actually help her, but he really probably wouldn't, unless it'd give him a chance to steal a lot of drugs from Princeton-Plainsboro.
Otherwise, we can assume she does some checking and sees the info on the profile page - Crane's a documented nutbag (a genius, but one of the bad ones) and declines to show. Don't hold it against Nadine - Crane's made her pretty crazy.
ooc: No problem. It's not the sort of thing I like to spring on people - and even though I try not to cross-fandoms, IF it were possible for them to meet, Cuddy would have the information. Heck, Crane was publicly outed as a villain, and was promoted as a wunderkind before that, so the chances that a medical professional wouldn't recognize the name would be pretty slim.
Nadine got the same warning - but she decided to go for it. She's coming along nicely, according to Crane.

I should also mention that I do not accept any forms of insurance at this time.

An initial consultation? We could take it from there if you do manage to make a crack.

I'm remarkably good at helping people make significant breakthroughs quickly. I'm fairly sure we can generate a few "cracks" in the time we'll have.
ooc: er, you're aware of who he is, aren't you?
Reply
ooc: nope. Someone from Batman I'm guessing due to Gotham but uhm nope? :)
