RAIN! creeks full to bursting, again - fantastic. Checked out the forest yesterday to see what it was like - wow. Little fungi abound but we found a cache of ruddy great shrooms 40cm across and 30cm tall :) odd buggers, no gills, sort of bloated underneath. Some kind soul has lent hubby his Planet of the Apes box set. We're watching them in random order - Beneath... and Battle for... so far. Utterly fucking delightful.
