Lovely long walk in the wet part of Tallaganda (State Forest section, Main Range trail) today - not many photos, other than a lovely big probably fallen fungus. Not too cold, few drops of rain, but otherwise very pleasant. Huge contrast to last weekend (National Park section, Bald Hill trail) - very dry, very cold, very windy to the point where

The Tarkovsky, of course! :) haven't bothered with the other version yet. Not a fan of remakes generally.

The remake is one of the worst ever. But then it doesn't help that I loathe and detest George Clooney. I love the Tarkovsky film. Saw it many years ago on the big screen and was blown away, as they say. Saw it again a couple of years ago and still loved it.

Oh, many, many moons ago - too long ago to discuss with any certainty. I had a batch of Lems that vanished somewhere between moves - about six of those Harcourt (?) editions with the lovely striking line-drawn/cartoony covers.

One of those things I keep meaning to rectify but haven't quite got around to yet.
