The Read in 2010 List
- The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown
Read my review and know there are spoilers...
- Tailchaser's Song by Tad Williams
What an absolutely fascinating book! I need to reread it, I think...
- The Virginia Woolf Writers' Workshop: Seven Lessons to Inspire Great Writing by Danell Jones
I need to find where
shatterpath hid this in her room so I can reread it and do some of the exercises.
- Little Altars for Spirituality by Josephine De Winter
- People of the Lakes by Kathleen O'Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear
- People of the Sea by Kathleen O'Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear
- People of the Moon by Kathleen O'Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear
- People of the Weeping Eye by Kathleen O'Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear
This was actually read twice, once in May/June and again in July/August. The second time was in preparation for reading People of the Thunder, because it had been a long enough time that I'd forgotten what was in this book and kind of needed that info for reading People of the Thunder.
- People of the River by Kathleen O'Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear
- The Darwin Awards 4: Intelligent Design by Wendy Northcutt & Christopher M. Kelly
- People of the Silence by Kathleen O'Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear
- Deryni Tales by Katherine Kurtz
- People of the Mist by Kathleen O'Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear
- People of the Thunder by Kathleen O'Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear
- Llewellyn's Sabbats Almanac: Samhain 2009 to Mabon 2010 by Llewellyn
- Marion Zimmer Bradley's Sword of Avalon by Diana L. Paxson
Once again, an awesome part of the whole saga. I will never tired of these stories...
- Lythande by Marion Zimmer Bradley
- The Best of Marion Zimmer Bradley Fantasy Magazine Volume 1 edited by Marion Zimmer Bradley
- Love Spell by Karen Williams
You can read my review here...
- Sword & Sorceress III edited by Marion Zimmer Bradley
- Tarot Journaling: Using the Celtic Cross to Unveil Your Hidden Story by Corrine Kenner
This was actually a far more interesting book than I'd initially thought it would be, and I'm kicking myself for having taken so long to read it... And I think I'm going to be using some of the info in this book to create my own tarot journal...
The Currently Reading in 2010 List
- The Ode Less Travelled by Stephen Fry
- Color Intuition Kit by Laura Alden Kamm
- Have You Seen My Country Lately? by Jerry Doyle
- Life's Companion: Journal Writing as a Spiritual Practice by Christina Baldwin
- Kink Magic: Sex Magic Beyond Vanilla by Taylor Ellwood & Lupa
- The Sapphic Companion by Margaret Reynolds
- Earth Spirit Living : Bringing Heaven and Nature into Your Home by Ann Marie Holmes
- A Handbook of Chakra Healing: Spiritual Practice for Health, Harmony and Inner Peace by Kalashatra Govinda
- An Enchanted Life : An Adept's Guide to Masterful Magick by Patricia Telesco
I got this book from
lupabitch and am working it through it slowly. I'm a sucker for Telesco's books, have been ever since I read her A Kitchen Witch's Cookbook, which I really need to start using again. And this is a nice "Witchcraft 201" book, as opposed to all of the 101 books out there. There are definitely things I can work with in this book, and that's a very good thing.
- The Secret Teachings of Mary Magdalene: Including the Lost Verses of The Gospel of Mary, Revealed and Published for the First Time by Claire Nahmad, Margaret Bailey
I actually started this one in 2008, but didn't get very far on it...
I was going to add in the "To Do" Reading in 2010 list here, but there's like 23 books on that so far, and really, I don't feel like coding up all of that crap. So I'm just not going to add it. If you're really curious, you can check them out in my
To Read list on Goodreads.
