I know what you mean, my emotions have been on a roller coaster this whole year. And we should definetly make plans for V.D. cuz it is creepin up and I cant even go to goodwill without seeing reminders of just how single I am. Ugghh... I have those cute chippendale cards, we can have poker night, or karaoke, Im down with just about anything, as usual. And I should have some moolah so... It would be cool if we could get out of town but I know thats probably not feasible. Like if we could go to Madison and bar hop that could be fun, or Chi-town. Humph...
Always welcome to come to Chi-town. You can crash at my place. I know of this great male stripper club. Mosty gay men go there... but the guys are funny to watch. And for $20 you can get a private lap dance!
And... of course.... I know of all the yummy places to eat!
And I know you don't have a car, and Marys JUST got fixed, so I wouldn't recommend her to be doing highway speeds untill her transmission settles.
You can take two ways into Chi-town.
#1. You can have someone drop you and mary off at Harvard Metra Line. Its the cheapest way to go. I think its roughly $6.95 One Way. And its nice because you don't have to worry about traffic. And I BELIEVE you can drink alchoholic beverages on the train. Who knew?

Well.
I've been invited to a party. There's a guy at school turning 25. His parties are usually alright, nothing huge -the philosophy club tends to comprise the majority of his guests. He is president of the republican club, though.
We could get drunk on shitty beer and play "bottle caps" with the guys.
OR, if you want to go into chi-town, my tranny should be "settled" by then, but a round-trip weekend ticket to Chicago from the Harvard Metra is actually five bucks (last time I rode, anyway).

#2. You can go to ClockTower, and like every other hour you can take a Charter bus from Rockford to Ohare. Its more expensive. $13 One Way. http://www.vangalderbus.com/schedule/ohare2d.asp

At O'hare I can show you how to get to the BLUE LINE, and ride the train into chicago from there.
I gotta get back to work.
