My hands are trembling from a combination of nervousness and cold. I rub the fingers of one hand, trying to warm them with the other as I stare at the small glowing screen on my ancient laptop. I feel as if I'm stepping cautiously from the front door of my house into a world of alien colors and problems. It's been so long since I blogged here, or anywhere, without fussing over how much traffic it might bring or whether or not it will appeal to a non "mommyblogger" crowd.

I can't write during the day.
