Winter whining

Well, the temperature is up to 9 today!

Last week it was -10 with a windchill of -20.

Got the car back today, and the transmission is brand-spankin-used, but better than before.

Also I've gradually started to do some of the required reading for my classes. Not all of it, or even as much as I should -but more than before. SO that's a good thing.

Things have been kind of weird lately. I feel like this freezing cold weather and the bouts I've been having with depression/stagnancy are cathardic. Suddenly I feel somewhat grounded -like neither the up or down extreme. Even the sense of stagnancy is fading a bit as I begin to thaw out from the death season and get things done towards my move to DeKalb and my transfer.

Also, the job situation looks decent. I called about a job on campus today and am about to respond to the voicemail I got in response to my voicemail. I expected the phone tag -I know how my educational institution works.

So wish me luck, folks! I may just become a VERY part-time college relations assistant sometime in the near future. YAY!

stagnant, college, jobs
