I'm actually bouncing up and down in glee :)
I've been counting down the days till open beta, and now need count no more :)
Of course, now I leave on a jet plane tomorrow, and internet acess will be patchey for the next few months but... dreamwidth! yay! -

It's things like this that make me so mad at organised religion. Even putting aside the whole abortion issue (you can guess where I stand on that one!) I find it incredibly sad that a church which claims to provide people with a community chose to exile people when the going gets tough, rather than supporting them. In my increased efforts to actually speak (or at least understand) Mandarin, I've taken to watching Chinese/Mandarin films. Sadly, I still have the english subtitles on so I have a clue what the plot is, but I have great fun leaping up and down saying "yay, I understood that!" every time they say "Dui", or "Xie xie".

This day commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, an agreement formed in 1940 between the chiefs of a number of Iwi (Maori tribes), and the British crown.
