Two  nights ago, it sounded like WWIII outside... or if you've ever been to a fireworks display where the "trailer" caught fire, you know what it sounded like.  It was like that for at least 30 minutes, and some of the explosions rattled our windows.  I walked down the road to where I could see some of the explosions through the trees/bush, and it ( Read more... )

I can't remember if you ever got your food stamps or not. Do you have to take a drug test to keep them now? Yest more crap shoveled on you.

We were able to get three months worth. We're going to see if we can get more (have to be re-certified), and I'm not sure if they will demand that we get the drug tests. If they do, it will kill our chances. We can't afford to lay out that sort of money. Thanks. Believe me, it helps... it makes it easier to keep fighting to know that other people are caring/thinking/sending positive energy.

Perhaps a change of scenery? freedem August 23 2011, 21:24:45 UTC
At one time in my life I lived in Miami and with running machine gun battles down major highways, folks stealing the Oak trees out of your yard etc, I thought the whole world was going crazy. I moved to Orlando and discovered it was mostly Miami that was crazy like that.

I have been in Polk County and while the insanity I was getting away from is certainly still increasing everywhere, they have a special insanity there that is not even found in Miami. I have friends that live in Polk County, but I do not even like to visit. While Orange County is still far from what I once considered good, just the psychological difference feels like a weight lifted every time I leave there for here.
