Our school assigns school emails when you become a student, and unless you're also faculty or permanent staff, you get one through Google Apps. Even if you don't request one you still get one (you have to have a school log-on and when you get that you get the email address, which is meant for official communication. Its hard to understand the amount of abuse you've suffered from good Christians. I don't remember Jesus authorizing this at all, and this is my whole problem.

I think it's partly because I'm a walkaway from the Assemblies of God. They have very long memories, and as recently as a little over a year ago were trying to get me to "return to the fold" - stalking. I've heard from a number of walkaways over the years who had experienced episodes of stalking or harassment (or worse) done in an attempt to drag them back
