*sniffles* Oh, this was beautiful. So sad! But I'm so, so happy that this version of Bruce could know touch and comfort and love again before the end, because he so deserves it.

She says his name slowly, carefully. He trembles again. Diana knows no one has called him that in years, knows his body trembles not because he wants her, but because he can no longer still the pain.

So sad! *wails*

She will steal time from the world for this moment.

That's just gorgeous. I love your Diana's voice, she's all warrior and still capable of such depths of love...

She had always had her loyal boys, Bruce had always had his flying angels, Clark had always had his stubborn warriors.

Eeee, that's such a beautiful line. It mirrors Brad Melzter's take in JLA 0 so nicely, but where he focuses on how each of them feels outside, you focus on how that works to bring them together.

Ahhh, sis, this fic is going to haunt me for days to come! In that good, sad way. You just did such a good job of showing that they were at the brink of the end, and even though this scene was so warm and tender and beautiful, it was so bleak too because they seem so doooomed. *cries* And Clark being dead only adds to that. *peers at your reply to Jen* Did he seriously kill himself? *cries some more*

I think this was the part that made me feel like this was really the end of all things more than anything else:

Diana realizes that whatever happens after this fight, even if they survive, she won’t keep her last mate for long. He’ll join Clark in oblivion, and Diana wishes she could hold both of them to her, protect them, keep them whole. She won’t be whole without them ( ... )

Meep! I'm sorry it's a sad kind of haunting, sis, though the story line really can't... get much happy mileage. But Bruce and Diana are awesome in it, so I had to give them some measure of happiness here! ..and yeah, about Clark. Uh, Darkseid zombified Lois, so Clark killed her to put her out of her misery, and after doing that.. he just couldn't keep up, so he tore his electric-blue suit and exploded? or something? ...yeah. *wibbles*

This being a prequel to Dan's 'Memory' is the biggest praise I could get, I soooo love that story! I'm glad I could capture some of that wistfulness here :)

The armor, uh. I had trouble not fixating on it, lol, Diana's armor is soooo cool, and the world being such a horrible place by now, I thought it would make for an interesting theme so explore.

I'm very glad you enjoyed my Trinity! I wish Clark could have been around more, but.. this is a very sad storyline like that ;.; But the Morrison kids, if they don't give me the lovey-dovey feel, they do have potential for larger than life soul mating!

Meep, sorryyyy! I'm very glad you liked, even if it was painful. That storyline so breaks my heart, they are so awesome and then they dieee, and Clark hasn't been around for years, it's just ;.; But they got a moment of happiness! hopefully that will tide them up for a bit..

White haired Bruce is so, so woobie. And badass. And hot. Like regular Bruce, only x10! :) I'm glad you liked, Saavi, thanks for reading!

I'm really glad you liked this, my dear. I really wanted to write Trinity smut, but it's hard! and I love the Rock of Ages storyline, but it's kind of a super sad place to live in! poor.. everyone! I'm.. sorry/glad I punched you in the stomach. They punched me too while I wrote it, so it's only fair it punched you too!
