[ meanwhile, after this, Shouichi is hiding in the bathroom, against the bathroom door and thinking about what he is going to do. Byakuran should be dead, gone...some part of him is happy about this, since, well, he was sad when his best friend was killed...

But at the same time, this brought up so many issues, as well. This Byakuran was visibly younger, and if so, what did that mean for the timeline. Not only that, but what if there was a possibility that he could make Byakuran into that...monster again. It wouldn't bode well for the world.

He sighs audibly and hits the back of his head on the door, trying to think ]

[Byakuran had been resting against Shouichi's bedroom door for all of five minutes before getting bored. Wandering their- well, their home, he supposes (home, or temporary place of residence, isn't anything new-). Learning where things are, what things are and well that had gotten boring too.

Now he's sitting outside the bathroom door, back against it, turning his compact over in his hands, and the silence is a little uncomfortable. He wants to tease and mock, but this isn't the fifteen year old Shouichi he'd been expecting to meet back home. This Shouichi is older and obviously still raw from everything in the future (everything that Byakuran is trying to get, because the embarrassment is crippling) and Byakuran might have a sense of cruelty in him, but is neither stupid nor lacking a tiny little piece of compassion. ]

How long are you going to hide, Shou-chan? I thought you'd at least be curious.

[action] IT'S BEEN A ROUGH DAY, MANG

[ He doesn't really know how all of this works; it was entirely possible for Byakuran to be alive in the alternate timeline. All they did was change the future, so it wouldn't affect the past any. Shouichi looks around at the door, but doesn't open it, still leaning against it ]

S...Sorry, Byakuran-san. This is just a shock, really...

[Byakuran snorts softly and turns the compact once, twice and then puts it down on the ground. Leans back until his head is against the door, and he shuts his eyes and grins.]

I know how you feel, Shou-chan~. You're a lot older than I was expecting. I definitely saw wrinkles!
