Man, reading old livejournal entries is a dumb thing to do. Why do I dwell on things I no longer have control over? Why do I dwell on things that I can't stop from happening? Goodness! I know it's silly, but when there are people over I absolutely love to serve them coffee. I love it when I'm in the mood for a cup of joe and I ask around to see if anyone else is also and I get responses from just about everybody. It's so nice to sit and have coffee with friends outside of the coffee shop and on a whim.

So I submitted three pieces to the benefit art show, giving James authority to pick from them. He ended up putting all three pieces up. They were all very moderately priced, basically priced to sell so people would be willing to buy them. I sold all three within 2 hours of the show starting! Yesterday was ridic. After not being able to start my car (again) to get it to Charlotte, Chapin let me use his AAA tow service. I waited for 2 1/2 hours for the truck to get there, deciding that I didn't have to go with it to Charlotte since my dad was going to keep it there for longer to make sure everything's alright. Chapin won us tickets to see Kate Nash this Wednesday in Asheville. He knew I had a long taxing weekend, plus my car wouldn't start tonight after work, and I have a lot due by Wednesday so to cheer me up he called into his friend's radio show and answered a question correctly and got us free tickets!! I love my darling Eyeball.

So I'm pretty stoked about my upcoming last leg of college. This summer I'll be taking a Graphic Novel Illustration course, some other dumb things, Tennis!, and painting. For the fall I'll only have Graphic Design V, Art after 1945, Advanced Internet Design and Yoga! And THEN I get to move to Asheville! Chapin is moving in August which is ok with ( Read more... )
