Cissie King-Jones was incredibly brave. Tim knew this all too well from their time in Young Justice. But even though she wasn't in costume anymore, that bravery hadn't been dimmed in the slightest. So he wasn't really surprised - upset, sure, but not surprised - to get the call from Cassie about how she had managed to foil a hostage situation in the mall single-handedly. There were so many ways this could have gone terribly wrong - one girl, skilled as she was, against an armed gunman - but Cissie had escaped with relatively minor injuries. Still, as soon as he had heard, he had flown over from Gotham to Pennsylvania. He knew she had probably worried through a lot of close calls just like this one, and he wanted to return the favor ( ... )

Title: Short Term Solution
Pairing: Roy/Steph
Rating: PG
Warnings: None

Short Term SolutionRoy Harper had a field kit. It was a nice field kit. He got it from a park ranger, Ranger Lamb, when he was about fourteen years old. He had volunteered at Painted Desert National Monument while Ollie was off somewhere and Roy worked closely with the man, following him around like a puppy for six weeks ( ... )

“When did it get this cold?” Steph asked from her sleeping bag. Her voice was tight and tense from the chill ( ... )

Title: The Road Home
Pairing: Tim/Cissie
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None

The Road Home

It had been months since Cissie and Tim had any time alone. Between her travel for her training and Tim’s work, they had both been very busy. Tim worried, as days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, and he and Cissie still hadn’t gotten together, that it all spelled the end of their relationship.

Their salvation came when Tim worked a case involving Triad, the Chinese Mafia. Tim tended to work mob cases with his head close to the ground but things had gone awry and his super hero name had been identified to the mob. A hit had been put out on him forty five minutes later.

Tim had left China but it hadn’t helped. The hit followed him all the way to the Mid Western United States. He had narrowly avoided death more than once and after the third patch up job word had clearly gotten back to Cissie.

She had called him, furious and clearly terrified. She had insisted that he spend several weeks underground and to make sure he stayed ( ... )

“What? No! Not at all!” Tim exclaimed, willing his muzzy mind to catch up with the conversation at hand. “I want you to curl up next to me in bed and sleep until we can’t sleep anymore. Then I want to cook us a real meal and after that’s over I want to make love to you on the kitchen floor.”

Cissie smiled at him. “I think I like you this way. You’re much easier to understand when you’re not being politely vague.”

“I’m glad you’re enjoying this. Just promise me that if I walk into a wall you’ll haul me into bed,” Tim replied wryly.

“And a non sequiter that was not intended to be an abrupt change of subject?” Cissie said in a mildly awed tone of voice. “Maybe I shouldn’t let you sleep ( ... )

Awww! This is great! I loved it. You really do a great job with them, and have I mentioned how glad I am to have someone else who loves the pairing? :D

I'll probably get to your tomorrow if someone else doesn't first. :)

Awww, that's so sweet. There was porcupine AND marriage. :DD

This was adorable. I love the tone and the implication of the chill in the air being dissipated by the warmth of their love for each other.

I'm so glad you wrote this. I was sure I was going to be the only one answering prompts for this meme.

Hee, I saw the porcupines and couldn't leave it alone. "giggles"

I'm glad you like it! I was afraid it was too mushy, but I am absolutely in love with the idea of them getting married.

Hmm I should leave another prompt. Not to many people like writing threesomes, let alone Dick/Roy/Tim, I've just been in the mood for them but no time to write them.
