Am back from vacation and back at work...so of course, this means I'm catching up on the past 5 days of LJ and last week's TV. Go me, eh?  I'm trying to comment, but mostly feel like I'm just reading. Will make a more meaningful post later, after I'm done reading what's been up with all of you!

So I went in to work with Bernie today, figuring it'll force me to actually (hopefully) get some work/writing done.

I did SOME work on the introduction. Not a whole lot, but some. Mostly it was picking through papers and putting in some citations. Haven't found examples of everything I need yet, but I also haven't finished going through all the ( Read more... )

Monday, I got fed up with the fact that the library still didn't have Forever Princess, the 10th and final princess diaries book, even though they'd ordered it on January 14th. A professor up in Michigan has been using nanolithography to create miniscule portraits of our new President. He's growing carbon nanotubes in arrays that have been patterned off of pictures of President Obama.
