today, i sauteed

today i learned how to sautee, how to make tomato sauce from scratch, and how to make a traditional italian flavour base better known as a "soffritto," all for the very first time!

i feel startlingly accomplished! and well fed.

i went to the gym yesterday and went pretty hardcore on the weight machines. i thought i had the flu when i woke up this morning. it took me a moment to realize my muscles might be screaming at me for other reasons.

i might stay home sick anyway.

also also i've been lifting weights for like a month and i'm falling in love with my delts (and you will too, when i figure out a way to flex them that shows them off to their best advantage while maintaining my dignity in public).

1) i only just figured out that i got the saying "saaad panda" from the sexual harassment panda episode of south park, despite having never seen it.

2) if i buy the latest edition of the guide to getting it on!, does anybody want my 4th ed copy? (if you haven't read it, i highly recommend doing so!)
