apropos of nuffink

On Satdee, when Ari and I were humming and hahing in uncharacteristic indecision at Video Ezy*, I had a minor fannish explosion upon spotting The Scarlet Pimpernel, the 60s(?) Jane Seymour/Anthony Andrews version, on DVD. I know, I know, bad costumes, bad hair, possibly bad acting too.

But Ian McKellen ... as Chauvelin! *falls to knees* Oh god I ( Read more... )

i get this as well!!!
the best moment of this was when one of my friends walked into my room the other day, looked at my "peteandcarl being gay" wall and was like "okay, there is no way they are not gay." and i was like "you are right. pete is just trying to occupy himself with kate moss until carl comes around" and she looked at me strangely. but it was true, oh god how it was true!!
and hello, my richey edwards crush?? there are about ten million instances of him and nicky almost making out with each other.
and oh, hoolian and courtney...ahh, those were the days. (someone told me to write a sequel the other day, i told them to go to buggery.)

let us put this down to you being delirious with cold, and me being delirious with cold medicine, shall we?

See, I wonder if this is a product of our generation ... y'know, us terribly terribly postmodern post-structural sexually fluid (ew) kids where it's okay to be anything ... or maybe it was always around, we're just more celebratory/open. Yeah, that works. Thanks to Bowie and Pop and Haynes, I say. *nods*

WAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAA! My sentiments exactly. Good on you. Like pffffttt. You so have better things to do. Mind you, if the Court/Bowie ever got written, I'd definitely be squinting down that link. *shifty eyes*

Delirium = a world of her own wif fishies and green telephone ice cream. ja.

wait, wait, wait. WHAT boy in MR's bed? what did i miss? here i am thinking he's the biggest indiana high-school-geeky hockey-obsessed jock manque, probably sleeping around with women like a tom-cat. what boy in his bed?

actually, i like the thought of him in bed with a boy. hence my fanfiction. :D

Heh, I thought that'd get your attention. :p *so evil* Apparently there was a lot of innuendo when Michael was on Cribs ... rosesmoves has caps up here. Haven't downloaded them myself but heard the naughtiness from rhiannonhero. Possibly I've embellished the details from a haphazard memory. :p

I like boys. I like girls. No difference, really.

duhhhh... i even downloaded the Cribs segment in video format from a french hero-worship site and don't remember any boys/girls thing! i've been sort of privately assuming he's bisexual (just because he's so completely comfortable playing gay characters), but i'm so far out of the know, it hurts. i'll watch it again.

my impression on seeing it: he's a big ol' overgrown BOY. with many expension and ueber-cool toys. i adore him for it, too. huh.

OH, the thing he did, putting on stiletto heels to get on the exercise equipment was great. i would've liked him to put on a dress too. :D

Wow you love "the Scarlet Pimpernel" too?! This is awesome. My sister and I are obsessed with film. Wore out her VHS. We love Ian McKellan as Chauvelin and Anthony Andrews as the Pimp...ernel. The last fighting scene---"Oh the English and their stupid sense of fair play!" Great, silly fun!

but dontcha just adore delirium world, just a little bit? like when the fishees are swimming (shaking, shimmering fins they have - all shades of aquamarine) past the window and all of those things that were so confusing now make the best sort of sense?

anway, 'tis the bestest. but hugs and tissues anyhow *kisses*.

the sir ian crush is kind of adorable but bear in mind the last thing i saw him is 'coronation street' last week... he plays a very dapper, faux novelist confidence trickster (from what i can gather) - you'd adore him, but i'm now a little squicked out. hee, so very gay. *giggles*.
aargh, the gay boys. my family automatically assume every boy i take home is bisexual, not because of any secrets i've disclosed about them, but they just all have that thing. can't deny that it brings about all kinds of prettiness though.... our!j and teenaged sonic lust, the beguiling ambiguity of my little sex kitten elijah... pretty much everything gael garcia bernal has ever done... and i'm hearing whispers (for i'm pretty um, behind, in ( ... )
