So I'm reading Dirk's authorised biography at the moment as well as his letters as well as his first memoir. He was such a prodigious communicator, so much detailed of his life and words. So I finally ordered The Search from Oldies.com late last year along with Waterloo Bridge --- the Vivien Leigh version --- for the Aunt and Leave Her To Heaven to watch with shaula82. And day before yesterday I finally got around to watching it.

Thing that amused me the most today: Marissa Nadler has released a second volume of covers just for those of us who ordered the album directly from her. Gad, Leslie Howard as Percy Blakeney does sinful things to my insides ... that scene by the fireplace ... the subtle changes of his expression, the way he moves closer to her and closer and then leans in and unf.
