BJDs-- Some Quick First Photos of My Soom Sard...

After 5 months of layaway payments, my Soom Sard arrived Nov. 18. Unfortunately, I've been under a few free-lance deadlines, so I haven't had time to fix him up... And he does require more tinkering than I thought, since I had him painted and blushed by Soom in order to keep the tinkering at a minimum

I ordered him at the last possible moment... then had him on the longest layaway I could get (5 months), and waited another month after that for shipping... I think there are only a few more Sards coming after mine-- So yes, a long time. But I REALLY needed that layaway!!! ^___^

yeah this year has been crazy with new releases, good for you that you were able to get him. now the dollshe re-opening or new opening is lingering ;)

Sooms are a lot easier to get than certain Dollshes, and I'm all about having as little stress as possible in doll-buying! Soom's layaway is just horribly enabling, too. I've been VERY tempted by a few other Sooms because of it ($200 a month is a lot easier to arrange than $1000 all at once, after all).

Gotta love those gorgeous Soom boys!!! I'd have all of them, if I could!!! (sadly, out of monies and space, but you know what I mean). 'Can't wait to see what you do with Io.

He's great. Do you know if Dollshe clothes will work on him?

I'm not sure. He's 65cm, so may not need all the extra length, but depends, I guess, on all the measurements. I think they can almost wear SD-sized, but I hear the chest and rest of torso is a bit wider...

I'm not really going to be putting a lot of clothes on him... I just need to have him cover a bit... So I haven't been trying clothes on him at all (plus all that blushing makes me nervous about touching him too much). He's the first doll that I've had body-blushed.

I got to see one up close at the last meet -- oh man, want one so. Have a hard time convincing better half that I must have one, given all the dolls we're constantly around...^^;;

There are just so many gorgeous dolls being made these days, it's so hard to try and be sensible... I'm maxing out on numbers of dolls I can comfortably take care of, but I keep seeing dolls I want! agh!

I picked up some of Laura's unicorn horns from your store, previously. 'Can't wait to get some pieces for Sard. He seems particularly suited for her style of jewelry!
