Can't find my scores?

Nov 11, 2008 12:59

I just called ETS to see if I could get my scores from the October test and they can't find my record. I just did the automated thingy. Has anyone else been successful at getting their scores? I'm wondering if that just means they're not available yet or if it means that they lost my test and now I'm totally screwed ( Read more... )

When I call, it says, "We've located your records for the October test. Your scores for this test are not available yet. Please allow one week before calling back."

If it's not locating your record at all, that's not a good sign. Make sure you're entering your registration number, month and year of test, and month and day of birth properly.

I have my confirmation number, not my registration number. I've tried it a few times and I'm sure I've put it in right. Crap. I'd better call and try to talk to a human tomorrow.

Ah, that's the problem. Do you still have your admission ticket? If so, use the registration from the top-middle of the page. That should be better. The confirmation numbers are so long it's easy to mess them up when entering them.

how is the registration number different from the confirmation number? I received one email after I signed up for the GREs, and it had the 16-digit confirmation number on it - no registration number. Where did you get this registration number?

When did you take your test, if I may ask? I took mine October 24th and I've not received my analytical writing scores or any sort of official scores yet. It's been longer than 10-15 days - or do they mean 15 BUSINESS days?

Sorry to bombard you with questions, and thanks for your help.

Yeah, definitely retry entering your information again if you're using the online form. The first time I punched in the info it came back 'record not found', and again when I rechecked. And then mysteriously the 3d time it went through. Also, I'm not sure if it matters, but maybe try with/without your middle name etc...

I didn't know there was an online form. Where did you find it? I have been calling them.

Here it is - I took the test a while ago, this is for ordering additional score reports. So on second thought I'm not sure if it's what you need, but maybe a way to see if your records exist?

You might want to edit your post to clarify that you're talking about the literature exam. That way there's not any confusion for others who didn't take it.
