Can't find my scores?

Nov 11, 2008 12:59

I just called ETS to see if I could get my scores from the October test and they can't find my record. I just did the automated thingy. Has anyone else been successful at getting their scores? I'm wondering if that just means they're not available yet or if it means that they lost my test and now I'm totally screwed ( Read more... )

When I call, it says, "We've located your records for the October test. Your scores for this test are not available yet. Please allow one week before calling back."

If it's not locating your record at all, that's not a good sign. Make sure you're entering your registration number, month and year of test, and month and day of birth properly.

I have my confirmation number, not my registration number. I've tried it a few times and I'm sure I've put it in right. Crap. I'd better call and try to talk to a human tomorrow.

Ah, that's the problem. Do you still have your admission ticket? If so, use the registration from the top-middle of the page. That should be better. The confirmation numbers are so long it's easy to mess them up when entering them.

how is the registration number different from the confirmation number? I received one email after I signed up for the GREs, and it had the 16-digit confirmation number on it - no registration number. Where did you get this registration number?

When did you take your test, if I may ask? I took mine October 24th and I've not received my analytical writing scores or any sort of official scores yet. It's been longer than 10-15 days - or do they mean 15 BUSINESS days?

Sorry to bombard you with questions, and thanks for your help.

I'm not sure if this is entirely true, but in my experience:

The confirmation number comes with the email after you register.
The registration number is 7-digits and comes with your official scores in the mail.

Actually, we're talking about the subject test in Literature.
You should have your general scores, with the exception of the writing, as soon as you complete the computer based test.
The subject test scoring takes a while, though. IT's paper based.

thank you. yes, I did receive my general scores, just not the analytical scores. my mind is on so many things now (I know I'm not alone in this!) that I completely missed that this post was regarding a subject test. I'll tried to prevent myself from entering spazzy, panic mode quite so soon next time.

I checked the online thingy for ordering more reports, which another girl linked to below, and they do have a record of both my general and subject tests. So that's a relief. I found my admission ticket with my registration number, so I'll give that a try tomorrow.

Have you been able to get yours yet?

That's a negative. No scores as of yet.
I'm so sick of waiting.
