Fight or flight?
I feel so mentally exhausted in every way. And yet my body seems to be ready for a fierce battle of some sort: my heart is pounding, my limbs are heavy with suppressed energy, my senses are all hyper:vigilant. I am ready for a battle, but all I ever do is tilt at windmills.
I wish I could just sleep and sleep and sleep. -

I like to move it, move it
I very much enjoy that I have reached that stage in my life wherein my friends who move hire moving companies rather than ask everyone to drag boxes up and down the stairs. Thus, "helping" with my friend's move this past weekend merely involved going over there to drink wine and watch brawny men move her furniture ( Read more... ) -
Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again
I had the weirdest experience of my brain writing a story last night while I slept. Even in the dream, I was cognizant of the fact that I should wake up and write everything down.
