Yes, a great darkness has fallen across the land. Or maybe it hasn't. We can't honestly tell. Brave warriors, heroes, thieves, villains, spoony bards and NPCs of all sorts have been summoned to a strange, distant world. That poorly rendered glowing chick probably had something to do with it. Hell, she may have even had a good reason! Unfortunately, due to being translated by someone who clearly doesn't speak Japanese and probably doesn't know too much English either, no one is quite sure what exactly she wants or why you were brought here. So hey, enjoy yourself! Put your feet up. Enjoy some gyshal stew. Maybe chill with a moogle or two, because we might be here a while.

We don't know what went wrong.
One minute, everything was going as smooth as it could, and then by the next, people started getting sick. It wasn't that bad at first, wasn't that big of a problem. We managed to isolate it, managed to come up with a quick-fix - and with years of research backing us up, we had everything under control. But we were wrong. So wrong. It didn't work, and now everyone else is dead, dying, gone -
We don't know how it happened.
We don't know what else to do.
We've lost everything we have, everyone we loved, and you'll meet the same end if we don't find a way out of this. So please, please, if you can hear this, we need your help. We're out of options, and you're the only chance we have left.

The theme of this roleplay is multidimensional space opera, with heavy doses of intrigue, philosophy and dark humor and a dash of action to taste. In this game, your ability to write an interesting character is far more important than how powerful they are.

Pulled away from worlds, families, and missions they do not remember, twenty teams of Blanks fought against each other. They made alliances and enemies, killed and died, and in the end one team stood victorious over the rest. They were returned their memories. They were returned to their homes.
That was eleven rounds ago. At the start of the twelfth round of the War, only nine teams yet remain. Once again they have forgotten everything but the fleeting sense of camaraderie with their own team, and the instilled distrust of all others. This is War, after all, and even without recollection of the previous eleven rounds, they tire of the endless loop. Fight, steal, deal, survive, and always always try to get ahead. To be better means to escape. The best teams won early, and escaped long ago, but now to be the best of the worst still means a chance at freedom. At home.

Unlike other roleplays, this is a panfandom dressing room, so no applications are required and everyone (save for RPF/bandslash fandoms) is welcomed. OCs, AU versions, even canon AUs are welcomed! Duplicates, naturally, are part of the course: if there can be more than one Steve, there can be more than one Buffy Summers or Jack Bauer. THE SKINNY THE PLOT: THERE IS ONE. Seriously. It's mystery-based, but I like to think we'll have enough going on to entertain you even if plot isn't your thing ♥
DO YOU GOT POWERS? Characters start without their powers, but can regain them over time if they work for it. They also start learning various psychic abilities, including telepathy to start (which takes the place of a network/communicator).
CHARACTERS ALLOWED: No OCs, but basically anything else! AUs, maybe sometimes duplicates, and low standards for canon background. We want those minor characters :>

When you open your eyes, you're in a crowded city; shops and lights and posters are everywhere. You find something in your lap, it seems to be a small laptop. Upon opening it, it's already at a website and all you see on the screen is a black background with DOLLARS written on it. The password is already in there, just click enter.
