For the purposes of being at least slightly less blood sugar effected, you should at the very least drink some juice or something if you can't bring yourself to go for solids because *WORRIED FROWNING*.

I am choosing to assume that he did beause the idea of him recovering and finding Sister Jane/Caro again PISSES ME OFF MASSIVELY for some reason.

Yes, you should read it, because it is good. You will not want to read it twice. It's that kind of book.

I realised, thinking back over it and Iron Council, that if you want me to literally not care about anything else in your book, have a character infatuated with a "good person" who doles out sex/person-specific affection begrudgingly in order to keep them on a line but who eternally places them second to some dream. IT SOUNDS REALLY SPECIFIC BUT IT'S LOOKING MORE AND MORE COMMON IN THINGS I READ. And oh BOY does it hit my buttons. :( I spent so much of that book shouting at Jacob to leave Ferris before he got hurt.

Oh god I wanted to yell at him to GTFO so often, but he's fucking crippled by being so tied to Christopher, it's pretty much like Ferris HAD to die or whatever so that Jacob could be free.
