Got to go see Warrior last night and was, yet again, struck by how subtle Hardy can be in his acting. He manages to convince you that this character will honestly and truthfully keep destroying everything in front of him until something completely and utterly obliterates him instead ... all the while letting you just catch the barest peek of the wounded, frightened and yearning, broken man behind his eyes. Plenty of actors can go back forth between those two, but he does it all simultaneously.
