Wash stuck his head through the door, looking for the source of the music, "Music, clear space and it's dark... someone having a party?"

The time in between had been long enough for Annie to sneak out to JC Penney (with Backup, River and Tris, who dawdled and just acted as guards) and get some Things neccessary for events like this.

She's been keeping her talents secret -- now she knows she doesn't have to, and is ready to flabbergast a crowd. The quiet pregs girl has skills.

Skills in music, but also skills in things like finding this perfect little black dress, styling her hair differently, and wearing perfectly layered makeup.

Remnants of Sundance, and the Oscars, though she's loathe to admit it.

While Iroh's playing, she snaps her fingers (complete with red-painted nails)softly to the beat.

Spoon, who'd managed to scrounge up hand drums from somewhere, turns up nearby. "This should be good," he murmurs with a grin.

Jim had taken the guitar from the pile of instruments. He moves back to his seat, nudging Pam gently in the side to wake her up.

"Music time," he says quietly, grins at her.

He strums a few cords gently to show that, in fact, he was not kidding.

"Bet you didn't know I could play guitar."

He grins, a bit smugly.

"Got any hidden musical talent?"

Hotaru hadn't spoken up at the meeting, but she liked the idea. Slipping into room 202 unnoticed, she noticed a violin in the pile of instruments. She remembered Michiru-mama teaching her to play in the short amount of time that Hotaru had lived with the Outers.

With a smile Hotaru picked up the violin and sat down, and set to tuning the strings.
