Spoon is settled outside the bar with a book, a selection of puppies, and a great view of both forest and mountains. It's a little hump in the ground, just right for him to lean against and read. He's contentedly chewing a bit of gum and alternating watching the sky with watching his book.

Having gotten permission to keep Penny, and having found the girl to convince her that she should move in (it is, to be frank, a better environment for a little girl than a bar) it is time to bring her home to meet the rest of the family.
