Angel was stalking Buffy on patrol, but then she went back into the apartments so now he's patrolling. He pauses when he catches scent of another human and then hears someone's voice. It doesn't take long to find the young girl.

"No," she shouts, taking a step back. "I'm not. Where am I?"

Angel holds his hands up and steps back. "Uhm...it's a little hard to explain. We're not sure where here is. Do you know about alternate dimensions? It makes the explaination a little more believable."

"Hello," says a slightly younger-looking girl who's sprawled in the snow. She's pretty well bundled up--only her face is visible, what with the hood and gloves. There's a heavyish-looking backpack leaning against her.

Meg stares.

After a moment, "Hi. Where am I?"

"No idea," the other girl replies cheerfully. "Southern hemisphere somewhere is about all I can figure out. Earth, probably."

"Oh."

Yes, that is a tiny hint of disappointment in her voice!

"So... wait. There's no place on Earth that looks like this."
