I've been spending some time on tumblr. I have been seduced by all the pretty pictures. But I see it much like twitter. It's good for just quick check-ins and neat pics, but there is still no good discussion happening there. Sometimes I reblog something with a note hoping to start some, but it never happens. Almost exactly a year ago, I made this post, summing up 2012 and it made me feel good, going into the new year, looking at things objectively and knowing that the good things outnumbered the bad. Happy belated New Year to all! My holidays were okay. Just kind of frantic as I got sick 3 different times -- or maybe just once and kept running around all busy to the point of never getting better.
