Happy belated New Year to all! My holidays were okay. Just kind of frantic as I got sick 3 different times -- or maybe just once and kept running around all busy to the point of never getting better. Either way, it sucked, but a girl's still gotta get it done. So I sang a lot and I cooked a lot. I even started to get over my fear of making dessert ( Read more... )

Did see Les Mis yet? I decided to skip it bc I heard some bad reviews. I was curious to get your take on the movie since you're a singer.

It does spins like the good out weighed the bad for 2012, which is a win in my book. I hope your uncle's treatment goes well. Best of luck in 2013!

Thank you!

And I didn't see it yet. I heard some good, some bad. But I've just mostly been busy. I'll probably see it this week as I really want to. Good or bad, I want more movie musicals in my life, so I must up its box office numbers in my own small way.

I haven't quite quit, but I'll get there. It's just the hardest thing ever. Ugh.

It took me a while to remember who/what Mable is.

All and all though I want to say congratulations for a good year. Not that I'm a fan of prostate cancer etc, but that sort of thing happens and you cope. The good things you mostly made happen through your efforts, so how awesome for you!

Heh. I forget that not everyone assigns names and personalities to cars. Ah, Mabel! She was an old girl, but a hard worker. I remember her with nothing but respect.

And you're right! Eight out of ten good things were all me and my efforts. Maybe even nine. I'd even like to think my sister leaving her husband was partially due to my constant nagging. Go me! I think I can knock of this year's resolutions, one by one. :)
