Ugh, sorry, was hardly online at all this past week, and because I've been trying hard to get off screens at a decent hour and get to bed, I hardly had any time after the kids went to bed, either. We were in NJ for the long weekend (kids had off Fri for inservice and Mon for President's Day), and somehow I wasn't online at ALL except for checking

The teacher sumo wrestling sounds fun, and a good way to raise money! (When you mentioned that the teacher you were subbing for was one of the ones chosen, I wondered for a moment if you'd have to sub for her there as well ;P)

Sorry about the un-hoped-for wedding for your niece... I suppose this guy is in her life regardless because of the child, but he does not sound like someone to want to have more of, at all... Maybe they'll break up again after all?

The Disney quiz is really fun! I got Maleficent ("Your Valentine is outspoken, likes a little space and “alone time,” and is more than a little bit magical. Hey, dark magic still qualifies as “magical,” after all. Who doesn’t love a good challenge?") -- LOL, well, except for the dark magic, this is not wrong :P

And the Weasley clock is SO COOL!

When my kids came home on Wed night and said that Mrs B was going to be one of the sumo wrestlers, I did wonder how they were going to handle that. I figured they wouldn't have me do it because kids weren't going to care about ME participating. I thought maybe they'd just take the next-highest dollar amount, first alternate, if you will. But since two of the participants were at this training event, it was nice that they were allowed to come back early for that. (It also meant I could catch up the teacher on the day in person at the end of the day, rather than just in writing.)

MiniPlu wanted to take the test, so she answered for her ideal bf. She got Aladdin: You don’t need riches… just a heart of gold, a dash of adventure, and the type of person who makes wishes for other people come true!

She made a face about Aladdin, and about not "needing riches" lol but she liked the bit about having a heart of gold and making wishes come true. That's my girl! :P

Aww, that's cute that MiniPlu took the quiz, too, and got Aladdin. I should totally have L take it... I'm like 70% sure she'll end up with Scar or Yzma or someone like that XD

ETA: She got Jafar, actually, so I was close XD And O, who decided he wanted to try it, too, got Aladdin, which is about right for him, too.

Out of curiosity, what was the description for Jafar?

Does this mean O and MiniPlu would be a spectacularly good match, or bad match? lol
