Oh hey, you're doing Yuletide this year! :) (I'm not (though I might end up betaing again I suppose), but at least one other person on my flist is doing it for the first time this year, which is pretty cool!)
As a totally optional extra, it's helpful to add in the text of your prompts (from the signup sheet), your AO3 name, and the characters you've selected; this is very useful for anyone who finds your letter on the letters post and wants to write a treat for one of your fandoms.
Thanks for the suggestions! I didn't include the text of my signup details because I pretty much repeated myself here, and had more detail here than I did over at AO3 anyway.
Are you allowed to write a treat for anyone/any fandom, even if it's not on your "offer" list? Do you have to finish your assigned fic, first, before you can do treats?
Yup! You can write a treat for anyone whose prompts you find appealing. (People browse the letters post looking for treats to write, which is what I was doing when I ended up here. Lots of people like to warm up before assignments come by writing a treat. I tend to *start* treats at this time but not finish them. Siiiiiigh

One of my all-time favorites! I didn't even get half the wordplay when I read it as a tween/teen, and it was still a favorite book. It wasn't until I came back to it as an adult, that I was all, Ohhhhh, and that made it even better.
