Now you know how I feel when my muses decide to abandon me mid-project (and sometimes mid-sentence). ^^U

(but hey! at least tonight they let me write a couple of paragraphs for the transvestite!Doumeki ficcie. That's something. :P)

Indeed. I could have posted some other sentence that hasn't already appeared in the preview I posted ahile back, but this is my favourite sentence of that whole fic, so it stays. XD

Ironically, the washing machine sentence belongs to the one ficcie I've started that is not meant to be funny or happy... at all. My humour muses managed to sneak that sentence past my grim angst ones, but it's about the only instance of giggle-inducing writing in that wip... which will most likely never see the light of day 'cause it's actually a rape fic

The first chapter is done, together with most of the second and bits and pieces of the following ones, but it was such a depressing fic to write that I abandoned it of my own free will... even if some of my best writing showed up for it. Darn my muses! >_>

Well... I would be lying if I didn't say that THIS one really piqued my interet:

If anything, Doumeki proved to be as greedy when it came to sex as he was about food... which meant that he always wanted more, and he wasn’t shy about demanding variety.

... but I think I was the most intrigued by this one:

Any of these realizations should have been worrisome enough on their own, but together they painted a rather grim picture, and he had never been much of an art enthusiast, himself.

... not even knowing what fandom it is or anything... but I just really, really liked the wording and visual created by this sentence. ^___^

Drooling should be an olympic event. We've certainly had enough practise to make it to the teams. XD

The first sentence belongs to a ficcie that would theoretically be finished already if it wasn't for the fact that it kinda died in the editing process, when I realized that Doumeki was almost completely out of character. The guy TALKS! as in, A LOT! >_<
Plus there are a couple of things in that fic that seem out of character for Watanuki, too, and the entire thing sounds... wrong, somehow. I'm rather fond of a couple of paragraphs (including the one that contains that single sentence), so I would really like to save it if I can, but the wrong in that fic is the kind that to be corrected would mean rewriting most of it... so for now, I'm stuck. -_
