what's the matter with your grandfather? I hope it's nothing serious! I'm sure he will really appreciate your flying out there to visit him. Also, I finally have the wireless router! Want to Skype when you're feeling better??

Apparently, he's not doing too well again...my uncle was just out there and thinks my grandfather is atrophying. So I'm calling this visit an emergency and just flying out. I'm very concerned I'm not well enough, though, since I'm still congested and have a cough here and there. We'll see.

I'd love to Skype soon! What's your schedule like next week?

At this moment I think I'm pretty much wide open every day other than next Tuesday, the 14th! So let me know what works best for you?

I hope the trip with your grandfather goes well, and that things aren't as bad as they sound. It'll be easier to gauge the situation in person, at any rate. Plus you'll get to see your dad, right? That'll be good! I doubt you'll be contagious by that point; I think they usually say it's just the first 48-72 hours you have to worry about.
