New Years Eve 2011-Beginnings and Endings

My plans for New Years just fell though. It looks like I'll be spending this year alone. That's life, I guess. I'll try to make something of it.

I told Katrina about Sasan, David, and Jason today. It just kind of came out. I don't know why. She handled it really well. Why am I always so worried about other people when I talk about how I was raped.

I'm glad I was able to give you at least some of the support you needed at that time, and I'm shocked at how little empathy you've received from other people you've told (minus Katrina.) The only thing more horrifying to me then being raped is being raped and going through it alone. And I hope you always remember that you were NOT at fault in any of those situations; anyone who says otherwise is victim-blaming, which I find despicable.
