I never got to finish my 30 days of awesome female characters meme, mostly because I am lazy, but the other half of my list are still pretty damn awesome women, so I figured I should just finish it now anyway.

I still haven't gotten past the first few episodes of Community (and what I've heard about this season isn't really making me want to change that) but I clearly remember LOVING Britta. Which for some insane reason was, and probably still is, an unpopular opinion?

I agree with your thoughts on Chuck. The reason I don't like Chuck (and yet I keep watching in case there are OTP times or Bryce comes back from the dead again) is because I just don't like Chuck, the character. I can't really say why, he just bothers me.

..is Sarah on your list twice? Is that another Sarah Walker? You have a lot of Walkers.

Did you hear that Summer Glau's new show got canceled? I mean, it should because it's.. not good but EVERYTHING SHE IS IN GETS CANCELED. EVERYTHING.

Oh, I quite love Community, but the first season is definitely better than the second. But Britta is clearly an amazing character, mostly because she's so intrinsically flawed? And yeah, for some reason, not a lot of people liked her, but I think that was because they were pushing the Jeff/Britta and it didn't entirely work. She's a much better character when they stopped that. Although it seems like they may be secretly having sex, or at least that seems to be what they're hinting at, so I guess we'll just have to see

The people I know that watch Community (and are all Britta fans because they're awesome ilke that) tell me that there's not enough Britta and too much Annie/Jeff this year.

I HAVE SEEN ALL OF DOCTOR WHO SEVERAL TIMES. IT'S OKAY. I don't talk about it much, I only got into it after season four was over. Marathoned the whole thing in a few weeks. I loved it but that was probably in part because I was just going ALEX KINGSTON! ALEX KINGSTON! ALEX KINGSTON! the whole time.

I guess if domesticity is what she wants, that you know, that's cool too.IT WOULD BE. But I never got that feeling until suddenly they were telling me that she did and I just do not like

Ah, well, for honesty's sake, I have to admit I am also a Annie/Jeff shipper. But also a multishipper. They all have so much chemistry! But I do agree that there's not very much of Britta atm

I love Britta. She's so amazing. And ditto on the female friendships thing. Not all women are secretly fighting each other over men or are indifferent to their own gender. It's great to see a realistic portrayal of female friendships :D

PS: You have Sarah listed twice in the meme thing. Day 18 and Day 24.

Britta is amazing. And yeah, she and Annie do fight a little bit over Jeff, but they, you know, they get over it. And their friendship is more than just about Jeff? And I love those episodes where it's Shirley, Annie and Britta just together being amazing. Like the STD fair episode. Or the feminism one. Or the one where Britta doesn't know how to bathroom talk. She's just so awkward and sometimes she just doesn't get it, but she tries. And she's passionate about things, even though everyone's sick of her activism, and she just doesn't care. <3

Haha, the other Sarah is from Brothers and Sisters. It used to confuse me too, before I started watching Chuck. When people shipped Sarah and Chuck, I'd be like - what??? when was there a 'chuck' on my show? what is this?.
